JOHN, Owner and Stylist
John has over 35 years of experience in barbering. He is one of a few barbers who offer traditional barbering services such as a hot towel shave. Having said that, John continues his education on the newest trends in men's styling. John prides himself on having a comfortable rapport with his loyal clientele, some of whom have been with him for almost 30 years.

EDIE, Owner and Stylist
With over 35 years experience, Edie's technical competence, attention to detail and easygoing nature have allowed her to develop an extremely loyal clientele. Edie is a Master Colourist determined to stay current on the latest trends and techniques. Edie thoroughly enjoys the industry and her clients, and it shows in her day-to-day styling from behind the chair.

TRACY, Salon Stylist Tracy is an experienced hair stylist with over 40 years of experience. She specializes in colour, highlights, cutting, and styling and offers facial waxing. She continues her education and is eager to learn the industry's latest techniques. Tracy ensures every client leaving her chair is happy with the services provided.

JESSE, Salon Stylist

Jesse has been in the hair industry for nearly 20 years. She has previous experience as a colour brand educator and salon owner. She enjoys getting to know her clients and giving them styles and colours that best compliment their lifestyle. 

JENNIFER, Salon Stylist

Jenn has been working at John Michaels since June of 2021. When she was about 15, she knew she wanted to be a hairstylist one day. Jenn loves having the honour of making clients feel beautiful and pampered. She’s always keeping up with the latest trends, such as balayage and highlighting techniques. It is her goal to make sure clients who come in feel relaxed and leave feeling more confident and happy with the service provided! TREVOR, Salon Stylist

Trevor has been a full-time hairstylist since 2000, after graduating from a highly recognized and respected career school of hairstyling.  Joining John Michael Hair Design & Barbering in 2003, Trevor enjoys meeting new community members and maintaining a professional relationship with longtime clients, mainly focussing on men’s barbering and women’s cuts and highlights. 

INGRID, Salon Stylist

Ingrid is a dedicated and personable stylist known for her attentive approach and strong client relationships. She takes pride in delivering high-quality hair treatments and is especially skilled in men’s haircuts, creating precise, tailored results for each client. Warm, engaging, and easy to talk to, Ingrid creates a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable and cared for. Her genuine nature and accommodating approach make it easy to build trust, and she treats every client like family.

HAILEY, Apprentice Stylist

Hailey is an apprentice stylist with a passion for all things hair and a strong eagerness to continue developing her skills. From cutting and colouring to creating beautiful finishes, she is excited to learn and refine her craft every day. Her goal is to offer more than just a great style—she wants every client to feel at ease, heard, and confident in both their hair and themselves.
